Let me tell you a story...
I grew up on a dirt road in a swamp in New York City. Staten Island, 10 miles across New York Bay from Manhattan, is a cluster of remote enclaves, forests, beaches and shipyards set apart from the city that runs it, a unique place to launch a writer's life.
Life is a web of stories...
SIwriter.com is where I have collected the best of my stories and songs. The stories I tell are fictions, historical, political, conjectural, mysterious, all told and populated truthfully as possible. My songs tell stories that are not often spoken, about found moments and lost years, swinging around seasons and staying up late, set to fingerpicked acoustic and slide guitar.
Welcome to my Island. Put your feet up and visit awhile.
